Event Photographer

Qty: 2 Total – 1 on Sat (11am-7pm) and 1 on Sunday (11am – 7pm)
Duties: Take pictures of event. Be creative.
Requirements: Must provide your own camera and related equipment. Must release all rights to the pictures to Garlic, Inc. Assist with storm or other emergency. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested.

 

Stage Event Volunteers

Qty: 8 Total – 4 on Sat (2 from 11am-4pm) (2 from 3pm-8pm) and 4 on Sun (2 from 11am-4pm) (2 from 3pm-8pm)
Duties: Help out around stage, run errands, unload/reload music equipment, misc duties, help stage manager and sound man, putting up/taking down signs regularly check in with Volunteer Coordinator and follow instructions. Clean up. Assist with storm or other emergency.
Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and must have a cell phone. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested. Bloomington

 

Food Volunteers

Qty: 8 Total – 4 on Sat (2 from 10am-4pm) (2 from 3pm-8pm) and 4 on Sun (2 from 10am-4pm) (2 from 3pm-8pm)
Duties: Assist in the food tent preparing food, handling cash, and managing flow of traffic through the food tent. Help out on event grounds, run errands, pick up trash, answer questions, misc duties, put up/take down signs and regularly check in with Volunteer Coordinator for instructions. Clean up. Assist with storm or other emergency.
Requirements: Must have a car and must have a cell phone. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested

 

Beer Garden Volunteers

Qty: 8 Total – 4 on Sat (2 from 11am-5pm) (2 from 3pm-8pm) and 4 on Sun (2 from 11am-5pm) (2 from 3pm-8pm)
Duties: Assist in the beer tent checking IDs to ensure only 21+ visitors are served alcohol. Be available to answer questions, assist on the grounds and manage flow of traffic through the beer tent. Help out on errands, pick up trash, misc duties, put up/take down signs and regularly check in with Volunteer Coordinator for instructions. Clean up. Assist with storm or other emergency.

Information Booth Volunteer

Qty 4 – 2 on Sat (1 from 10-4pm) (1 from 3pm-8pm) and 2 on Sun (1 from 10-4pm) (1 from 3pm-8pm)
Duties: Man the information booth. Pass out information and answer questions. Assist with storm or other emergency.
Requirements: Must have a car and must have a cell phone. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested

 

Volunteer Coordinator

Qty: 1 – Part-time July-Day of Event, 1-2 hours per week average.
Duties: Prior to Festival – Enlist, interview and get committed volunteers Day of Festival -See what needs to be done and arrange to take care of it. Keep in touch with stagemanager, sound man and festival manager (David). Assist with storm or other emergency. Help with clean up. Volunteer After-Party – Make arrangements to get everyone there and see to special food needs Requirements: Must have a car and must have a cell phone. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested day of event.

 

Stage Manager

Qty: 1 – On call prior to event to coordinate event. All day Sat and Sun day of event.
Duties: Oversee stage area, including getting musicians on and off stage. Assist with storm or other emergency. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested day of event.

 

Master of Ceremony

Qty: 2 – 1 on Sat and 1 on Sun.
Duties: Make announcements from stage, be sure credits are read for contributors, introduce musicians and others, oversee on-stage intermissions. Assist with storm or other emergency. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested. Bloomington

 

Assistant Executive Director

Qty: 1
Duties: Help Executive Director and coordinate all aspects of the event. Be available for 1-2 hours per week in May and June, then 1-3 hours per day July through mid-August. Then 1-4+ hrs per day mid-August until event. Assist with storm or other emergency. Help with clean up. Help with volunteer after-party. Hat, sunglasses, sun screen, possibly rain gear suggested day of event.
